THE LATEST NEWS FROM THE LEAGUE

The League turns 90th this year and we will be joining with Delaware County Council on Tuesday, February 16th at 10am in Delaware County Council Meeting Room to celebrate this event!

MEETINGS

League meetings are open to all and we welcome newcomers and those interested in learning more about the issues facing us at the local, state and national level.

Feb. 26th - 11:45 am - Join us for lunch at Generations Restaurant (formerly the Little Inn) in Media and learn about PA House Bill 80 and Senate Bill 92 that revise the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act in PA. Senator Ted Erickson and Represnative Greg Vitali will explain the aspect of the bills they introduced and what it means to Pennsylvanians. To make a reservation or learn more, contact Hank Thorne.

March 16th - 7 pm - Learn more about Marcellus Shale at the Radnor Township Building. Carol Collier, Executive Director of the Delaware River Basin Commission,  will be the speaker. For more information, contact Roberta Winters.
