Opening Doors to Civic Participation Home>Resources Overview>Townships TownshipsThe governing body of townships operating under the Second lass Township Code [all in Indiana County] is composed of three supervisors who are elected at large. Two additional supervisors may be elected if approved by the voters in referendum [only White Township has five.] All are elected for six-year terms.(1) Other elected township officials include the tax assessor, tax collector, three auditors, and a constable.
