Where to Register to Vote in Pennsylvania

Registering to vote in person-

Individuals may apply for voter registration in person at the Office of County Voter Registration Commission or at a place designated by the Commission. County Voter Registration office addresses can be found on the Pennsylvania Department of State website (www.dos.state.pa.us)

Registering to Vote in Conjunction with an application for or renewal of a Driver's License-

Individuals may apply for voter registration in conjunction with an application for or renewal of a driver's license through the Department of Transportation at photo license centers

Registering to vote OnLine-

An individual may register online by using the LWVUS Online Voter Registration Tool at http://www.lwv.org/voter/register.html. Or use the Union County website to obtain a registration form, http://www.unionco.org. Go to Departments, then Election and Voter Registration. The form can be printed, signed and sent in to the county court house.

Registering to Vote by Mail-

An individual may make application to register to vote by mail in one of two ways. The first option is to obtain a voter registration mail application developed by the state or federal government. The Secretary of the Commonwealth and all county registration commissions supply voter registration mail applications to all persons and organizations who request them, including candidates, political parties and political bodies and other federal, state, and political subdivision offices. Mail-in forms can also be found in post offices and public libraries. The second option is to download the voter registration application available from the Department of State's website or one of the sites listed above.
