January 22, 2008 :
First day to circulate and file nomination papers

February 27, 2008 :
Last day for withdrawal by candidates nominated by nomination papers.

March 24, 2008:
Last day to REGISTER before the Primary election.

April 15, 2008:
Last day to apply for a civilian absentee ballot.

April 18, 2008:
Last day for County Boards of Elections to receive voted civilian absentee ballots.

April 22, 2008:

GENERAL PRIMARY– GET OUT AND VOTE!!

April 23, 2008 :
First day to REGISTER after the primary.

April 29, 2008:
Last day for County Boards of Elections to receive voted military and overseas absentee ballots (must be postmarked no later than April 21).
