Televised
candidate forums are one of the most widely recognized ways in
which the League provides information about candidates and offices.
Forums give Pennsylvanians the opportunity to directly compare and
contrast candidates's ideas and leadership styles. By watching debates,
voters are able to evaluate their performance and formulate voting
decisions bases on the discussion of issues rather than campaign slogans.
Over the past 15 years, the League has sponsored candidate forums
for every major race for state office in Pennsylvania and is a recognized
leader in debate production. |
