A nonpartisan grassroots civics organization

The Pennsylvania Water Resources Education Network (WREN) is a nonpartisan informal collaboration among organizations and public officials working for the protection and management of Pennsylvania's water resources, both surface and ground water, through education and informed policy making.

Award wining civics education program, Kids Around Town (KAT), with the cooperation of West Chester University, is a hands-on, interdisciplinary model of local government and civics education, targeting elementary and middle school students. Since 1993, KAT has given students a vehicle thorough which they learn to investigate a local public policy issue, apply and develop proficiency in language arts, math and science and learn how to take responsible civic action.

Televised candidate forums are one of the most widely recognized ways in which the League provides information about candidates and offices. Forums give Pennsylvanians the opportunity to directly compare and contrast candidates's ideas and leadership styles. By watching debates, voters are able to evaluate their performance and formulate voting decisions bases on the discussion of issues rather than campaign slogans. Over the past 15 years, the League has sponsored candidate forums for every major race for state office in Pennsylvania and is a recognized leader in debate production.
