Membership in the LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF MONROE COUNTY is open to any citizen at least 18 years of age, including men. In the Monroe County League, students taking at least six semester credits are also welcome, at a discount. Annual dues are $50 for individuals; $75 for household membership, and $15 for students.

We meet every fourth Wednesday at 5:00 P..M. at the Hughes Eastern Monroe Public Library Community Room, Route 611, Stroudsburg. The exceptions are in November and December when the meetings are moved to the third Wednesday due to the holidays. They are open to the public, and members are encouraged to bring guests. A seven-member board meets the first Wednesday of each month at Mt. Pocono Borough Hall, Mt. Pocono, to plan and organize the agenda for the membership meeting.

Once you join, you automatically become a member of the League of Women Voters of the United States and the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania as well as the League of Women Voters of Monroe County. In return you will receive the National Voter and Pennsylvania Voter three times a year and the local Newsletter every other month as well as frequent emails or regular mail about League activities.
