Community Information Center

The League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh (LWVGP) Community Information Center (CIC) in Pittsburgh provides information to citizens about voting, elections, and their government.

The CIC can also provide speakers to community groups and information about LWVGP activities such as candidates' forums and public meetings on current issues. The telephone is staffed Monday through Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm, year around except in late July and the first three weeks of August.

In addition to the telephone information line, the League also periodically run seminars on such topics as how to run for office and how to run a candidates debate. The League also has publications available on many related subjects. One of our publications is a legislative directory called Facts for Citizens.
