Membership is open to any person 18 or older (both women and men).
You'll get local and state newsletters and a national magazine to keep you current on issues and activities. Because the League functions on all three governmental levels, you will be reading about a wide range of topics: many national issues ... state issues: education, voting process ... local issues: city/county merger or consolidation, property assessments, campaign finance reform, Clean Campaign Committee, and more. If you join a resource committee you will dig even deeper into a topic.
Citizens in Allegheny, Butler and Beaver Counties are served by the LWV of Greater Pittsburgh. Dues are $54 for an individual and $27 for each additional person in a household. Checks can be made payable to "LWVGP" and sent to, LWVGP, 425 Sixth Ave. #1490, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 with the LWVGP membership form.
