Scholarships to Attend Conferences/Trainings

General WREN Scholarships

General WREN Scholarships are available to Pennsylvania community members working on protecting our water resources. Funds may be used for training related to water resource education and management. Examples of eligible activities include conferences, seminars and workshops. Eligible expenses may include travel, registration, and lodging; approval of any expense is subject to WREN Project's discretion.

Scholarship program guidelines:

• Requests reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis

• Applicants are required to provide a 5% match on expenses, which can be determined after all expense receipts are submitted.

• Expenses will be reimbursed upon receipt of: Original receipts (attached to summary of expenses) and informal report on the event; report should be no more than one typed page.

• Applicants will be notified by telephone (or email if that is how the application was submitted) about the the application no more than two weeks after it is received by WREN.
