Water and Wellhead Protection Grants-
1995 & 1996
In Potter and McKean counties, Penn State Cooperative Extension
helped form Water Resource Councils made up of county and municipal
officials who deal with water related issues. The Councils sponsored
training sessions for local officials and the public on groundwater
resources and wellhead protection. A regional meeting for a six-county
area was also held. 5000 water quality bookmarks were produced and
distributed.
