Come join us at the Parkway Central Library for an exciting event where we delve into the inner workings of the judicial system! This event will bring together judges, educators, and community members to explore the importance of civic literacy and the judiciary’s role in American democracy. Attendees will experience unique perspectives and meet organizations that will give attendees the opportunity to gain insight into the fascinating world of the courts! The Civics Fair starts at 9:00 a.m. in the Grand Lobby. The panel discussion begins at 10:00 a.m. with a special video message from Supreme Court Justice, Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Our Keynote Speaker is the Honorable Kevin Dougherty, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. The panel will be moderated by the Honorable Nicole Tate-Phillips, Court of Common Pleas, Montgomery County.

Esteemed panelists include the Honorable Daniel McCaffery, Supreme Court of PA, the Honorable Stephanie Sawyer, Common Pleas, the Honorable T. Francis Shields, President Judge of Municipal Court, Morgan Robinson, Presidents of the League of Women Voters Philadelphia, and Catherine Hicks, President of the NAACP - Philadelphia.

Event is hosted in partnership with WHYY, The National Constitution Center, and the Philadelphia Chapter of NCNW.
