With local news sources failing across our nation, how residents get their news has become fractured and in some cases, unreliable. Spotlight PA is an independent, non-profit, non-partisan news source covering Harrisburg and statewide issues. Dave Abruzzese, who works with Spotlight’s State College Bureau, will speak on their work in the broader context of local news and democracy. This community event will help voters learn about this new source of local journalism, and how to support it.

Calvary Harvest Fields Lodge Conference Room, 150 Harvest Fields Dr., Boalsburg

The Lodge Conference Room is located above Calvary Harvest Fields Church. Exit the main parking lot to the left and drive up the hill to the Lodge parking. Enter the Lodge building at the front main entrance and follow the signs.
