PA Election Reform: Why Businesses Should Care

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is currently at a crossroads. Entrenched political forces could enshrine their rule for the foreseeable future by pushing through undemocratic election and redistricting changes in the Pennsylvania General Assembly, such as the recently proposed HB 2207.

The Getting Back to Business Campaign shows that Pennsylvania businesses and employers desire an accountable state government that focuses on economic improvements instead of using political schemes to disenfranchise voters. In fact, there are proposals coming out of Harrisburg to make voting more accessible and secure that are economically advantageous for the Commonwealth.

Join the PA Getting Back to Business Campaign webinar to learn about ways business, community, and civic leaders can get involved to support voting rights, corporate civic engagement, and the economic recovery of Pennsylvania.

Panelists will include:

Ethan Demme, CEO of Demme Learning in Lancaster, PA

Susan Gobreski, Director, Government Policy, PA League of Women Voters

Elizabeth Howard, Senior Counsel for Democracy, the Brennan Center for Justice

Jabari Jones, President of the West Philadelphia Corridor Collaborative - moderator
