The Impact of Voting Maps

Learn how voting maps are drawn and how they impact your vote!

The League of Women Voters of Monroe County is hosting a community conversation in partnership with Youth Infusion, the Greater Pocono Section of the NCNW, and Fair Districts PA at the Eastern Monroe Public Library (Hughes) from 5PM until 7PM. Please join us to learn about and discuss how voting maps are created and how they impact our vote. Confirmed guests include County Commissioners David Parker and Sharon Laverdure, Carol Kuniholm from Fair Districts PA, and Mark Lichty, one of the litigants in the landmark PA case that upheld fair voting maps.
