What to Know About the February 7 Special Elections

Special elections to fill three vacant Pennsylvania House seats will be held on February 7th, 2023. 

If you live in the 32nd, 34th, or 35th legislative districts, here’s all you need to know to prepare for the upcoming election. Not sure of your legislative district? Click here to check.

Important dates for the upcoming special elections:

Monday, January 23rd: Last day to register to vote before the election. Register here.

Tuesday, January 31st: Last official day to apply for absentee and mail-in ballots. To avoid any possible USPS delays, the League recommends applying for a mail-in ballot as soon as possible. Apply for a mail in or absentee ballot here.

Tuesday, February 7th: All mail-in and absentee ballots must be received by the county board of elections no later than 8:00 P.M. Instructions on completing your ballot here.

Tuesday, February 7th: Election day for districts 32, 34, and 35. Polls are open from 7 AM-8 PM. for Districts 32, 34, 35. Find your polling location here.

Saturday, February 1th: Last day for county boards of elections to receive voted military and overseas absentee ballots.
