Pamela Menet is the Director of Community and Economic Development for Berks County. In this position, she directs the community and economic development policies and programs for Berks County and leads the implementation of the newly created IMAGINE Berks Strategic Economic Development Action Plan - the County’s first formally adopted plan for guiding investments and pro-active strategies for the County’s growth.
She is a graduate of Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and holds professional certifications from the American Planning Association (APA) and the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).
David N. Hunter, Sr. serves as the Executive Director of the Berks County Planning Commission and supervises a veteran staff which provides planning support to Berks County’s 72 municipalities. David is a member of the American Planning Association, the Urban Land Institute and the Pennsylvania Downtown Center and is a certified planner. David also serves on the Board of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association and is the Co-Chair of the Student Engagement Committee. He graduated from the University of Maryland with B.A. and M.A. degrees in Urban Studies. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Regent University.
Ashley Showers is the Assistant Director for the Berks County Planning Commission where she has worked for 17 years. She is a graduate of Bloomsburg University’s Geography/Environmental Planning Program.
