There are 24% of Americans living with a disability. There are more women than men in the population. Therefore, building accessibility means that our Leagues have the potential to reach 13% more women voters and members.

We are honored to be joined by Vicki Landers of Disability Pride PA to discuss “people first” language, respectful and inclusive communication, managing online and in person events for accessibility, including American Sign Language, Closed Captioning, wheelchair and other physical accessibility requirements. Successful programming and outreach depends on inclusion.

This zoom program will be transcription and closed caption enabled and will feature live American Sign Language interpretation.
